On a late summer evening in 2022, childhood friends Nick and Sagar exchanged a message that would transform the next few years of their lives: "Why don't we make a book about Japanese whisky?"

Since that moment, the two have traveled extensively across all corners of Japan, capturing tens of thousands of photos, and visiting dozens of bars and distilleries to bring their simple idea to life. While they had collaborated before—including running a graphic design business in high school—this project stands out as their most ambitious yet.
